La Cancalaise was born in 1998, when a fisherman from Cancale, passionate about his job and a sea lover, had the idea of adding value to fish and working differently, by offering freshly prepared soups to his customers.
Nowadays, La Cancalaise is a story of passionate women and men who wanted to transmit this love for the sea by creating their own workshop. Whether they are shipowners, fishermen, shellfish farmers, mussel farmers, oyster farmers, aquaculturists or cooks, they all work with the same sincerity and the same requirement, day after day to serve the purpose of the brand.
