Founded in 1986, GlobeXplore (headquarters in Rosporden, France) is specialized in molecular cuisine and in production, transformation and marketing strong added value edible seaweed’s and prime and gourmet products. The company offers more than 150 references: to view, click on the catalog.
GlobeXplore was created in 1986 by Christine Le Tennier. It is the pioneer in Brittany of edible seaweed and seaweed-based specialties. Today, the company has 3 activities:
- Harvesting seaweed
- Processing of seaweed
- Molecular workshop and creative cuisine
The company is located in Rosporden in southern Finistère and currently has thirty-five employees. We have been IFS certified since 2015, which ensure control of the safety and hygiene of our food products. We have also been Bretagne 26000 certified since 2022. Inspired by the international ISO 26000 standard, this territorial CSR label is a guarantee of our socially responsible and environmentally-friendly behaviour.
Our job: sublimate seaweed in gourmet and healthy recipes.
We now offer around 150 seaweed-based products (spreads, pasta, rice, condiments, spices, soups, chocolates, etc.) spread over several sectors of activity: retail and food service (Algaé and Perles de Saveurs brand), fine foods and export (Christine Le Tennier brand).
More than ten years ago, we created Les Perles de Saveurs in our workshop. These small spheres are composed of a film of alginate (seaweed extract) and contain a liquid core. They explode in the mouth and release a delicious flavor: fruit purées, syrups, vinegars... 17 flavors are available. They can be used from aperitif to dessert, as a finish on all your dishes.
