Optical unit on which the fiber Bragg grating based-sensors are plugged. It includes 2 functionalities : an optical source and an optical spectrum analyzer. These two features are required to deduce any strain or temperature change from the properties of the back-reflected light from the fiber optic sensors. Equipped with 4 channels and enable to run until 76 strain fiber optic sensors for
the highest capacity model, it is compatible with our data logger, the Exocet Blue. Although it is usable alone, its mutual use with the Exocet Blue bring the enormous advantage to get the strain or temperature mesurements in context.
