Ex vivo human skin tissue models play a pivotal role in OECD-compliant cosmetic efficacy and toxicity testing, providing a reliable alternative to traditional animal testing. Two widely used models are the Ex vivo Human Skin Disc Model and the Ex vivo Human Skin Sheet Model.
