Cropwin simulates crop growth and yield development using agronomical models considering the plant-soil system and agronomical interventions.
For wheat and grain maize: it indicates the yield gap, water, and nitrogen stress indicators for the upcoming week.
For maize silage: It predicts the expected harvest date and yield (in tonnes of dry matter) displayed. These insights enable users to organize the harvest and optimize the quality of maize silage. Additionally, it allows users to anticipate a poor year and secure food or alternative fodder sources.
