EDDU is a range of pure buckwheat whisky created by the cellar master. From the same basic ingredients, each edition has distinct characteristics: fruity, woody or spicy. The entire range has been granted the "IGP Breton whisky": a label guaranteeing that each step in the whisky production process, from grinding through distilling to ageing, is done at the distillery in Plomelin.
EDDU BROCÉLIANDE, created in 2013, has woodier notes. It is aged in French oak casks from the Limousin region, then in new oak casks from the Broceliande Forest and was appropriately described as "Pure Silk" in the 2020 edition of the famous Whisky Bible.
