With 40 years' experience, the company is also renowned for developing instruments for measuring and monitoring aquatic environments (oceans and freshwater).

World leader in the development of profiling floats, equipment for oceanographers’ studies of the evolution of oceans and climate, nke instrumentation is well known in the field of multiparameter sonde and instrumented buoys. nke Instrumentation is involved in several research projects, both nationally and internationally and works in partnership with scientific institutions among them IFREMER, the French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea.
