LSA is a family business , specialized in the production and marketing of potato seeds .

Know-how for 3 generations
Planting potatoes is a history and know-how that began almost a century ago, passed down from father to son for 3 generations.
LSA is the grouping of 30 Breton producers of seed potatoes.
We produce and sell 15 varieties in more than 25 countries. We multiply a wide range of protected potato varieties, which we develop in around twenty countries around the world. All these varieties are tested in the different production regions to assess productivity, disease tolerance and adaptation to different soil types and climates.
Located in Western Europe, our geographical positioning is an asset for the production of early plants and reinforces our health quality thanks to a temperate climate.

Varietal creation
We work in collaboration with Bretagne Plants , with the aim of developing new potato varieties and selecting varieties adapted to new market needs. These new varieties must contain characteristics such as:

• High yield
• Culinary and presentation qualities
• High resistance to potato diseases and parasites (mildew, nematodes, scabs, viruses, etc.)
• Adaptation to different climates and soil types
