5DO is a Breton company that helps chefs around the world to create innovative gastronomy around blue lobster, shellfish and crustaceans by providing raw seafood meat of a quality "as it comes out of the water", thanks to its unique know-how combining cold shelling and cryogenization.

Alexis Taugé created 5DO in 2010. The company is located in the port of Lorient with a 2500m2 workshop entirely dedicated to the production and development of innovative and ever more qualitative products. The family tradition of oyster farming and shellfish trading since 1895 has enabled 5DO to benefit from products of exceptional quality.
5DO is the pioneer in high pressure seafood processing in France and Europe as we specialize in the extraction of raw shellfish meat and its criogenization (nitrogen freezing).
